Ogaki is a city located in Gifu Prefecture, Japan.

You can go to there about 1 hour from Kyoto.

local train take around 3 hours.

Ogaki city is said to be a city of water.

Water is gushing out all over the city.

There is a “Ogaki spring water map” that introduces 26 spring water spot.

It’s gushing out 8 spot in around the station. and, a lot of people visit Ogaki city for spring water tour.

You can walk there from Ogaki station, so you don’t need a car.

I’d like introduce you that you can walk recommended place from Ogaki station.

First, Famous water gushing out from the shrine well at nearest the station.

There is place that walking 5 minutes from station.

It’s Takaya Inari shrine.

This place chosen “the 20 city of water”.

Next place is “Ogaki Hachiman shrine”.

There is place that walking about 15 minutes from station.

Maybe you feel so far way, but it’s very worth going there.

This shrine is historically old. Once upon a time, This place once burned down for the war.
